if i could go back in time, i would like to go back and get married in the 1950′s. I think the dancing at the reception would be the best and the fashion would add a bit more glamour to the day.

I would get married in the roaring twenties in a beautiful silk, floor length gown teamed with a decadent headband, shockingly short marcel waved bob with my best gold dancing shoes. My handsome husband would would cut a dashing shape in his velvet smoking jacket. We’d sip champagne from saucers and dance the night away to the charleston and the polka, whilst the older relatives look on in horror! Sounds a little like my wedding is going to be anyway..!

If I could go back in time for my wedding – I would want the Swinging 60′s. Short skirts, cool suits, lots of eye liner and great music. I would have to be driven there, of course, in my shiney new white VW Beetle!

I have no taste and so I would probably say the 80′s. A puffball dress, premed bridesmaids, a groom with enough gel in his hair you could open bottles off it. A disco ball, wham! and culture club playing non stop…. Special guests would include sinnitta, the cast from byker grove and some little known actors from that new show ‘eastenders.’

I need all the help I can get, I would love to win the discount and in exchange I won’t do any of the above.

The 40s. Think Hollywood glamour, men wearing trilbys, men in uniform, gorgeous hair and make up. Stunning gowns. Drool!

Think medieval-long flowing dresses, marriage in a castle and a big feast with all sorts of entertainers- a proper event! Only problem being that the only beetles around not of the good sort so would want to come back to now straight after!

I myself had a fab vintage wedding 20′s/30′s – all art deco- including dress – husband wore black and white brogues with a hollywood film theme – think Fred and Ginger Inspired me to set up my own act singing vintage songs for weddings – love nothing better than doing that
